James' family will divide any donations made for James between the Samantha Dickson Research Trust and the Great Ormond Street Children Hospital. Both organisations have been involved in James' medical treatment and have been supportive and helpful throughout.
As part of his treatment James was trialing a drug called Chlorimipramine. Chlorimipramine is being tested for stopping the growth of brain tumours. The trials, which are undertaken by Professor Doctor Geoff Pilkington, are funded by the Samantha Dickson Research Trust.
